Sun 09-Feb

Flippin' 'eck... another roast dinner, courtesy of an invite from Beth & Chris to The Dolphin for Sunday lunch. And after we'd finished, spotted a seal in the flooded waters beside the hotel!


Mon 10-Feb

Took the car down to St Ives this morning so I didn't have to carry the three new raspberry canes to be bought from the market all the way back home. Seems The Waits has disappeared under the highest water levels for some years.


Tue 11-Feb

Rather muddy round of pitch & putt this afternoon with John. Here he is teeing off on the final hole. Filmed this with some trepidation about whether I had enough film capacity... he broke the record for ending up in the trees to the right with four branch breakers before managing to keep his ball on the fairway at the end of the first round. Amazingly this shot ended up on the green. End score John 79, me 76.


Wed 12-Feb

No wonder there's so few snaps of Sammy on OMED... popping into Becky's this afternoon, Sammy turned himself into a tortoise with the wash basket to avoid getting his photo taken or to receive a kiss and cuddle.


Thu 13-Feb

What was that all about? Off to Cambridge for the matinee performance of Moon Tiger, with Jane Asher. Definitely in the bottom 25% of plays we've seen that were not worth watching. Seemed to be a jumbled mass of memories with a underwhelming ending. A walk along the river Cam afterwards as the evening drew in made up for it.

Here's the DIY valentine card I made for a change. Since we'd already had lunch out twice this eek, decided to store the invitation for another day.


Sat 15-Feb

A rare portrait of Izzy whilst babysitting for Becky & Barry this evening. Set her up for this with a good portion of her Dad's chocolate birthday cake and cream, plus a promise of an extra go on the Dots game on my iPhone. She was determined to put her wobbly tooth on full display.
