13-Jul to 19-Jul 2012

Sun 13-Jul
Pottering about in the back garden this morning, testing the new grass shears bought yesterday. Just love being around the square, full of poppies, nasturtiums, borage and of course, bees.

Mon 14-Jul
Paige made this loom bracelet for me. It only took me about three weeks to persuade her to take a break from churning them out for herself and friends to do me one. She started by teaching me how to make one. She was really patient and careful with the instructions, would make a great teacher. But the middle bit got complicated and was beyond me so she finished it off. Must have taken pity on me on Saturday night when I was babysitting her, Connor and Amelia.

Tue 15-Jul
Met John at Becky's this morning to instal Mulder, the green cheek conure, in his new home for a week while John's on holiday. Apparently the feathered fiend likes to pull the hair on your neck, as he's doing here. When he sat on my shoulder and did the same it was like a minor form of torture!

Changed format
From this point onward the format has changed to the display of a single image and (hopefully) more thought provoking comments against each. Hope you like the change.
